"In my artistic practice, I am deeply influenced by the belief that all entities within our reality share an intrinsic connection—a complex web woven by the nature of our planet and the vast universe. The prevailing crises we confront stem from the deceptive notion of human separation from nature, perpetuating the fallacy that the environment is an infinite resource at our disposal.
As an artist, my exploration of the micro and macro cosmos has been instrumental, offering a profound lens on ecology and sustainability. This interconnectedness is a recurring theme, a reminder that everything is nature—the cosmos, the Earth, and all living beings, including humans.
Coming from a fashion design background, my exploration of Video Art started during the pandemic and became a transformative journey. Amid global challenges, I sought refuge in video art, drawing inspiration from the latter vibrant underground party scene of São Paulo. Projection mapping emerged as a pivotal medium, providing a unique perspective on interacting with the material world.
Influenced by the liquid light shows of the '70s, my technique combines analog and digital methods. Video became my favorite media during the pandemic, creating the possibility to showcase my work in diverse countries. Venturing into light and mapping festivals expanded my artistic horizons, initially through open calls and later, invitations. Projecting my creations onto vast buildings is important to my practice, for it provides accessibility for diverse audiences outside the restraints of art institutions.
This journey reaffirms my commitment to crafting immersive visual experiences that transcend boundaries, fostering connections and contemplation in a world where everything is nature."
